Varsity Boys Soccer Falls to Dexter, 3-1

The boys varsity soccer team dropped a tough 3-1 game at Dexter. Dexter jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first half at the 1:19 mark. The Bulldogs were able to knot the game at 1 with 13:50 left in the half on a goal by Jacob Schultz who took a nice centering pass from Nathan Quintana. The Dreadnaughts responded with two second half goals to secure the win. Chelsea currently sits at 2-1-1 in the SEC White and returns to action on September 4th when they take on Tecumseh at home. In JV action, Dexter won 2-1.

Bulldogs Lose: 2 - 2
The varsity boys soccer team opened up league play in the SEC White with a hard-fought 2-2 tie at Pinckney. Jason Moise and Jacob Smedshammer scored for the Bulldogs. Chelsea struck first in the first half with the Pirates knotting things up at 1 prior to the end of the first half. The teams exchanged goals in the second half. The Bulldogs (1-0-1) will travel to Ypsilanti to take on the Grizzlies this Thursday.

Game Recap:
The boys varsity soccer team opened their season with a win over Manchester by a score of 3-0. The Bulldogs (1-0) led 1-0 at the half on a goal from Nathan Quintana. Noah French and Chris White tallied 2nd half goals for the Bulldogs. Chelsea returns to action on August 21st, when they travel to Pinckney.
