Boys Varsity Track Finishes 5th at EMU Relays

My Comments: A fun way to start the season. We managed to finish 5th out of 25 teams with a truncated squad. The distance guys we brought showed that they have had a good winter of training. The
4x800 won easily, the DMR was runner up, and Jensen and Carson had good races in the mile.
Both sprint relays placed, an encouraging sign for this new group of guys. Also, James Mida had a lifetime best in the Shot Put.
This year will be exciting, as we try to find many pieces of the puzzle. As we head into spring break, our success will be determined by how hard we want to work.
A final note - runners were well rewarded by a bag of Spicy hot fries and some flavor blast Cheetos - which created a festive atmosphere on the ride home.
