The boys varsity soccer team dropped a tough 3-1 game at Dexter. Dexter jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first half at the 1:19 mark. The Bulldogs were able to knot the game at 1 with 13:50 left in the half on a goal by Jacob Schultz who took a nice centering pass from Nathan Quintana. The Dreadnaughts responded with two second half goals to secure the win. Chelsea currently sits at 2-1-1 in the SEC White and returns to action on September 4th when they take on Tecumseh at home. In JV action, Dexter won 2-1.
